National Account Management
A lot of MAS 90 and MAS 200 customers demand for a more streamlined method to manage customers who have corporate or parent companies or those who have branches or subsidiaries. To answer this call, Sage added a new feature called National Account. This new feature allows you identify and bill the parent company while still maintaining separate accounts for the subsidiaries. You can also associate billing accounts and set relationships for each of them in your Accounts Receivable module.

You can set pricing according to item category, by total quantity and also by total purchased per product line. Reward Your Sales Team and Encourage Collaboration
Utilize new commission flexibility in 4.5 to easily establish and maintain default splits between multiple salespeople, and identify the splits by customer. When your customers place an order, your splits will occur automatically—minimizing the time you’re spending today recalculating or overwriting commissions. If you pay multitier commissions, 4.5 will easily use rate tables and ensure your salespeople are paid correctly, even if you use many different commission rates by combinations of salespeople, customers, items, and effective dates.
Let Purchase Orders boost your Cashflow
There are instances when you don’t normally put to stock certain items which your customers buy. The new enhancement will allow you to create Purchase Orders automatically through Sales Orders. Whenever a customer buys that certain item, a purchase order will automatically be sent to your vendors which will save your employees time and effort in doing the job.
Allocate by Lot and Serial Number
When creating Sales Order you can now select a lot and serial number. This allows you to reserve limited-quantity lots or serial numbers for your best customers, or match the product you’ve previously shipped to a specific customer.
More Powerful Integration of Sales Order and Job Costs
Upgrading to MAS 90 and MAS 200 version 4.5 will allow you to take advantage of more flexibility in processing and tracking of ongoing jobs and additional options for Job Estimates. Information will automatically flow through your system to relieve inventory.

Well, after 21 years in this industry, I must say I have seen pretty much everything. Don’t get me wrong. MAS 90 and MAS 200 (soon to be called Sage 100) are awesome programs for the ERP market and fit so many different kinds of companies. But tell me where is the real recognition for the people who really support the product? Huh?
For me, as the President/CEO of MTSI, I don’t take it lightly regarding my responsibility to my clients. It is a hard job. It requires extreme attention to details. It requires a commitment to the client that we will only recommend things that will benefit them as a company.
I’m sorry Sage, but although we ONLY represent your product line, I refuse to be in the business of “selling” Sage solutions if it’s not a good fit. I am here for the client not for Sage. That may be a bit of hard medicine to swallow, but that is how I run my business and that will not change.
Not only is MTSI a “National Partner” with Sage, but for over 21 years have been only working with Sage products. This includes MAS90, MAS200, MAS500, Act, Sage CRM, SalesLogix and BusinessWorks. Over the past 4 years we have acquired 5 other Sage partners and have been awarded with President’s Circle. But even with all of that, our focus is always the client. You cannot put a square peg into a round hole. It’s really that simple.

Ok. Time to write about how I feel right now. MAS 90 and MAS 200 are great programs. But it’s not about how many you sell of them. Ok? Sage would have you think otherwise. The bottom line is regarding if this is the right fit for the customer or prospect. That’s it! End of story.
